About WunderArt

Wonder, built by hand

The people — and beliefs — behind the studio.

About WunderArt

Two decades where broadcast meets hardware

Michael Artsis is a five-time Emmy® Award–winning producer, technologist, and former news anchor and reporter. He has spent twenty years at the intersection of storytelling and machinery: building a flexible-LED company whose panels served Disney, network television, and Fifth Avenue retail; producing the official live streams of the New York Auto Show, CES, and Toy Fair; and designing, building, and operating an Emmy®-nominated immersive museum whose education program was adopted as official curriculum by one of America's twenty largest school districts.

Courtney Wunderlich, Co-CEO, builds the other half of every project — the partnerships, development, and relationships that turn ambitious ideas into funded, opened, operating realities.

The name carries both of us. Wunder is German for wonder — the thing we chase in every room we build — and it's the family name, woven in. When technology becomes art, it's wunderful.

The Team

Full bio

Michael Artsis is a five-time Emmy® Award–winning journalist, media executive, and entrepreneur whose career bridges elite media production, technological innovation, and community building. As a reporter and producer he covered the NHL extensively — the New York Rangers and Islanders, playoff runs, and Stanley Cup Finals — working inside locker rooms, on the ice, and behind the scenes of professional sport.

As an entrepreneur, he built a streaming and flexible-LED technology company whose panels and productions served Disney, network television, and Fifth Avenue retail, and whose live streams became the official coverage of the New York Auto Show, CES, and Toy Fair. He went on to design, build, and operate an Emmy®-nominated immersive museum whose education program was adopted as official curriculum by one of America's twenty largest school districts.

A lifelong hockey player and coach, Michael is co-founder and executive of Stride Hockey and helped assemble the Sophie Gerson Healthy Youth / New York Rangers Learn to Play program, bringing equipment, instruction, and ice time to underserved kids in New York City. The same conviction runs through everything WunderArt builds: talent grows where someone opens a door.

Courtney Wunderlich

Co-Founder & Co-CEO

Courtney builds the other half of every project: partnerships, development, and momentum. She helped scale a boutique investment bank from three people to more than twenty, trained at Houlihan Lokey, and managed celebrity-led national campaigns at Guthy-Renker — a banker’s rigor with a producer’s instincts.

Full bio

Courtney Wunderlich is a builder by nature and training — equally at home in a data room and a donor salon. She began her career at Guthy-Renker, one of the world's leading direct-to-consumer marketing and production companies, working high-profile launches and national campaigns alongside celebrity partners and creative teams, shaping brand strategy and managing large-scale productions that reached millions.

She then brought that storytelling instinct into finance, honing her advisory skill set at Houlihan Lokey and helping scale William Hood & Company, a boutique investment bank in health, wellness, and consumer, from three people to a firm of more than twenty — contributing across business development, client service, and deal support. Her nonprofit foundation was built at the American Cancer Society, engaging donors, volunteers, and community leaders.

Most recently she has led philanthropy, partnerships, and strategic growth for a mission-driven arts-and-education institution, architecting multi-year giving strategies and turning complex narratives into clear, inspiring cases for support. Colleagues describe her as a force multiplier: tempo, coordination, and warmth, aligning artists, educators, and funders around shared goals.

Our Philosophy

Built to be felt

Technology is the instrument. Emotion is the outcome.

Creativity is the deliverable

Anyone can rent gear. You hire us for the idea nobody else brought. Every project starts from a blank page, not a template — and our designs are limited only by imagination and physics.

Service is part of the craft

We come from live television, where the show airs on time and almost doesn't exist. You talk directly to the people who make the thing — before, during, and long after opening night.

Every project has an emotional outcome

If an audience doesn't feel something, we didn't finish. We design to that outcome — and we measure it, so boards, funders, and brand teams can see it.

AI is a brush, not a painter

Our AI films are written by hand, scored note by note, and cut by hand — every scene specified down to costume, light, and sound. In screenings, almost no one gets through them dry-eyed. That's the bar.

Own the tools

We build with our own proprietary LED, our own pipeline, and every discipline in-house — design, engineering, fabrication, content, production. Independence is how big ideas survive contact with real budgets.

Unforgettable

Our mark is an elephant for a reason. The experiences worth building are the ones people carry out the door — and keep.

Let's build something unforgettable
